I can’t understand why I never attempted to design knitted food before now. My nephew loved playing ‘shops’ with my mum and now my grandson loves it too. In fact my Cherry Tart came about because of him!
It’s a nice easy make and looks good enough to eat. It can be used as a play item or put on display. Its ideal for teddy bear picnics and dolls tea parties or simply playing shops or cafes.
It has been knitted flat on 3mm needles using oddments of DK yarn.
