I decided to knit myself a bag after months and months of trying to find one I liked in the shops or on line. They were either too big and heavy, or they kept slipping off of my shoulder. Once I’d made the decision to make my own bag, I got excited, as I was free to make it exactly how I wanted. Unfortunately for me my Granddaughter loved it too!
The intarsia design is not too complicated and the two side pockets are deep enough to push my house keys in without worry of them falling out. I’ve lined my bag as I wanted to give it more structure and I have outlined how I did it in the pattern should you decide to line yours too.
Knitted in Aran it knits up really fast and was a nice easy project which I hope you’ll enjoy. I hope you’ll enjoy knitting it as much as I have.
