When I designed my first Grump 12 months ago, I hadn’t realised just how popular he was going to become! Then when one of my test knitters suggested I make a post box tin cover, I knew he would have to be my first one.
He is knitted flat using 3mm straight needles and DK yarn. I have used iCords for his arms, legs and monobrow. Full instructions are contained within the pattern with colour photos throughout.
His little campfire is so simple to make but very effective and I have included the graphics so you can print off his burnt letters to Santa. I

Materials 20g Paintbox Simply DK yarn - (128) Lime Green 4g Paintbox Simply DK yarn - (113) Rose Red 14g Paintbox Simply DK yarn - (100) Paper White Oddments of Dk yarn in Orange, Yellow and Brown 2 x 10mm Green/Black Domed Button Eyes (Optional) Small amount of Toy Stuffing Small amount of Black embroidery Thread Any 11cm Diameter Tin (mine is a Post Box from Home Bargains Uk) (Optional) E6000 Glue (Optional) Needles 1 pair of 3mm straight needles 3mm DPNs (Double Pointed Needles) Darning Needles Size Sitting to the top of his head 12.5 cm (5”) approx (not including topper)
