Tootle -Choc' Orange Cosy/Softie

As a little girl I always wanted a tortoise. The tv show ‘Blue Peter’ had

one so I blame them for my love of them. But sadly, I never got one

and it's a bit late in life for me to get one now.... they can live up to

150 years old!! Tootle may be small, but she’s packed full of

character and hides a chocolate orange inside her belly beautifully.

Or if you prefer you can buy a clear 7cm fillable bauble and stuff it

full of sweets/candys, a lottery ticket or any small gifts you can think

of to make her truly unique. She can be easily turned into a softie by

using the base pattern included in the pattern. She’s the perfect size

for little hands to cuddle. Or she would be ideal to sit on a shelf

looking cuter than cute.

She is knitted flat using 3mm straight needles and DK yarn.

20g Paintbox Simply DK yarn - (107) Vanilla Cream

10g Paintbox Simply DK yarn - (119) Blood Orange

5g Paintbox Simply DK yarn - (129) Grass Green

Oddments of White DK yarn for eyes and colours of your choice for Flowers
